By combining our years of experience in the design industry we have developed an effective and flexible process to help us create innovative and iconic design that perfectly meets the consumer’s needs.

We believe that truly great products come from a great brief, and a great brief comes from thorough research.

By looking at a large number of indicators we can vastly increase the potential of a project whilst minimising the risk associated with new product innovation.

By observing what your customers are interested in and passionate about, what their aspirations and desires are, and how their attitudes and behaviours influence their every day lives, we can build up a clear picture of what your target audience are really looking for, and how best to deliver this within the constraints of your budget and brand.

In this culture of copycat product development, many products and brands end up competing on the same playing field and for the same prizes. By analysing the existing market we can identify where the key opportunities for innovation are, what makes your brand unique, and how best to enhance your product range to take full advantage of your competitors weaknesses.

Often, by focusing too much on one market segment or product area, it is possible to forget the bigger picture. Increasing the area of observation and looking at the design market as a whole allows us to predict emerging trends or technologies, allowing us to keep your brand consistently one step ahead of the competition.

Having researched what consumers need and desire from a product, how and where they will use it, what it will be up against in the market, and what global trends will appear, it is now time to explore the product itself. During each of the following phases we work closely with our clients to use their own extensive knowledge of the market to create the best possible solutions as quickly as possible.

We believe that it’s all very well having a great idea in your head, but it’s far more important to take those great ideas and concepts and realise them in ways that our clients can easily understand.

Albooto design using a range of 2 Dimensional media to best develop and present the directions and solutions for a project. These include both live and presentation sketches, Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw and Freehand renderings and photo realistic renderings from CAD Data.

Albooto offers full CAD files of the chosen concept and any engineering work, up to prototype specifications.

Prototypes and finished visual models are an essential tool in deciding on the final solution, and are also useful in gaining valuable, pre-production, consumer feedback.

Albooto can also help bring many products all the way through to market. We work with skilled and quality manufacturers in China and Taiwan to help deliver the best product to the market possible.

In a world where technology is increasingly being integrated into our everyday lives, this hi-fi is designed to blend into our domestic environment, without compromising the quality and functionality of the system.

Each of the speaker units, and the main control unit, are fully functional lights that can be used to fine tune the atmosphere of your room, whilst providing quality 5.1 channel surround sound.

Heavy bases for the speaker units prevent vibrations in the speakers, and provide cable storage to allow the speakers to be moved further or nearer the controlling unit.

The small satellite speakers sit anonymously around the room providing atmospheric lighting and 5.1 quality surround sound to your living area. The fabric colours can also be customised to match your interior.

Users interact with the main control unit, containing the DVD drive, via a remote, whilst the whole system is turned on by simply pulling the light switch.

Digital music can be played by either dropping an MP3 Player onto the dock on top of the control unit, or by beaming music directly from your computer.

Albooto’s ‘ViewTube’ aims to re-define how digital cameras look and work by moving away from the rectangular box to something that is more comfortable both in the hand and in the pocket.

An elegant sliding cover protects the camera lens, whilst the circular handle to the right of the product adjusts the level of zoom, and also enables the user to alter the functional settings.

ViewTube’s interface is thumb operated keeping your fingers free to grip the camera properly. An elasticated strap allows the Camera to be attached onto a belt, key-ring or wrist.

On sliding the lens cover open the camera will turn on and will advance the camera lens. The Carl Zeiss lens has a maximum optical zoom of 10x and the lens casing lights up to provide global lighting in dark conditions.

These customisable sunglasses allow the consumer to buy a single frame, and then select the lenses from a wide range of options. This reduces the cost of replacing damaged or lost lenses.

On exposure to sunlight, a decorative pattern appears to accentuate the sunglasses. By only being apparent on exposure to sunlight, the pattern encourages the consumer to wear the glasses out-doors, not in-doors.

The lenses can come in a variety of different styles and finishes, enabling the consumer to keep up to date with all the latest fashion trends, at little extra cost.

This corkscrew was designed to make the opening of a bottle of wine an easier, faster and more fluid process. By using a ratchet mechanism the design prevents your hand from having to leave the handle each time a turn is completed thereby reducing the amount of time and effort needed to remove the cork.

The ergonomically designed handle allows the user to get good purchase for the turning motion whilst allowing downwards and upwards pressure to be applied when required.

It also allows the product to stand upright when placed on a surface, negating the need for a separate stand to be sold with the product.

Integrated rubber foil cutters allow the foil to be removed easily without blunting the blade. The blades also retract when the main body is used to grip the bottle.

Initiated in 2006 as a conceptual project to explore the potential uses of ceramics in the home, albooto has designed a whole range of kitchen products that are both hard wearing and elegant.

Ceramic is an incredible material that has a diverse and rich heritage. Used both in some of the oldest products created and in the contemporary design industry of modern day it is a material that is currently undergoing something of a revolution.

These salt and pepper shakers hold no illusions as to their function, and yet draw little attention to themselves when place on the table.

Chrome rings allow the handle to glide easily on the main body whilst rubber seals prevent the salt and pepper from sliding around on the table.
